meditation with a bija mantra call it dangerous. What a joke. Let me tell you
what
is dangerous: A terrorist kidnapping someone and beheading them. A child
kidnapped in Mexico who is wondering if they will ever see there parents again
alive. A women who is rapped in Darfur and had her arm cut off in the process.
I
think you get my point. Meditation is not dangerous if you use common sense.
Very few meditators have problems. For those who are ungrounded with the use
of bija mantras, they should be walking with the mantra when eyes are open.
Teachers who scare the shit out of people by telling them its dangerous to
meditate with a bija mantra are just wanting others to follow them. India is
getting a reputation for Gurus who are competing with each other in regards to
who's got the best techniques or the magic to bring enlightenment to others
in the quickest way possible. Be simple and listen but don't take everything
to be the absolute truth. Soma.
