Goes without saying. It seems there's no hypocrisy that's beyond the Republicans. As you almost certainly know, the Republicans are on their way to *tripling* the average number of filibusters in the preceding several decades: Ah, but Judy, they didn't ban it, did they? And of course you know the difference in how the Republicans used the filibuster and the Democrats used it. The Republicans used it to protect the power of the Presidency put forth in the constitution, to select federal judges, establish foreign policy and to act as Commander in Chief.
