That's mainly who it was aimed at; there are 
a few such warped individuals here. :-)

But, if you think about it, how is that different
from books?  *Before* the films, if you ever read
Tolkien's "Lord Of The Rings," didn't you have a 
fairly good idea of what Gandalf and Frodo and Sam
and the other characters looked like, and how they 
thought and acted, and what they believed? All with 
no eye contact, no hands moving, no color or texture, 
just by reading words on a page.

For me the magic is not about the limitations of
writing, but about the parts of writing that trans-
cend those limitations.
