At some point I heard Jerry and Charlie had a meeting and apparently (just rumor) Jerry wanted to divorce the TM movement from its somewhat Religious packaging, puja, etc., OR wanted autonomy for the US branch (wouldn't that have been nice) and Charlie balked and walked away, apparently after that Jerry was persona non grata....FWIW. (For what it's worth).
