Mainstream..what in the world are you talking about? All this nonsesnse about Charlie claiming Jerry wanted to remove the puja, etc. etc. Charlie and Jerry always had underlying conflicts because Charlie was a big lovable spiritual BS'er and Jerry was a little more discriminating in the intellect department. Is this conjecture on your part or what? Did you have your finger on the pulse of the TMO during this time because I certainly did and nothing..absolutely nothing of what you are talking about was ever remotely spoken about by anybody. Rick, did you ever hear of such a thing? Not until it was mentioned here. I wasn’t in close touch with Jerry during his final years in the movement, but I recall hearing that MMY pulled him from the field after the NJ court case (boo lives says MMY was pissed because Jerry paid the lawyers’ fees against his wishes). Then I recall that MMY had Jerry round for a year or two, and the sidhis came out during that period. I remember hearing that Jerry disapproved of the sidhis or the way they were being presented. Thought the whole flying thing was nonsense, or perhaps that it violated the “capture the fort” principle. But all of this is a recollection of rumors I heard 30 years ago, so I don’t know how closely any of it corresponds with what actually happened. No virus found in this outgoing message.
