Actually, Barry (TurquoiseB) either didn't pay
attention to what Nablusos said, or he's trying
to deceive you, hoping you didn't read Nablusos's
posts carefully either (both typical behaviors
from Barry).

Nablusos told us explicitly that the superhops
he described happened only a few times many years
ago and haven't happened since; he can't do them
on demand, which would be required if the movement
wanted to use him as a "poster boy."

So Barry's fantasy about what would have happened
had the superhops actually taken place is just
that, a fantasy, not a basis for concluding that
Nablusos is lying about the hops.

(I'm *not* claiming he achieved the superhops
he described, simply pointing out that Barry's
rationale for saying he didn't is false.)

As to Barry's follow-up post, the bit about some
of us "smarting" because he announced he wasn't
reading our posts is another of his many grandiose
narcissistic fantasies. If he's claimed he was
going to ignore his critics once in the 12 years
I've known him, he's done it many scores of times,
almost always after he's been nailed on a
particularly ugly falsehood. He *does* continue to
read our posts, he just responds to them in posts
to others rather than directly. And even that
rarely lasts more than a week before he's back to
putting us down to our faces.

The "prediction" bit is one of his standard
tactics designed to try to intimidate his critics
into not pointing out that something he said was
not true. It hasn't worked yet, but he keeps trying,
apparently because the idea of being "predictable"
is so frightening to him that he assumes everyone
else is terrified by it as well.

*Of course* it's predictable that he'll be corrected
when he tells falsehoods, just as predictably as that
he'll tell them. His propensity to post things that
simply aren't true in his attempts to put others down
and make himself feel superior is one of the main
reasons for his very negative history with some of
the participants here.

He'd be a hero to the TM movement, instead

And this is another of Barry's fantasies. He has no
idea whether it's true, he just thought it sounded
good.

I seriously doubt whether anyone, except perhaps
Barry, "hates" Nablusos or has been nursing rage
because he had been "hideously insulting" to them.
In my observation, nobody takes his insults very
seriously (except, again, evidently Barry).

I don't believe Nablusos has ever claimed to be
"saintlike," so you can add that to Barry's fantasy
score. There are many more such fantasies in both
his posts, but the sampling I've noted here should
give you a pretty good idea of what kind of person
you're dealing with.
