I went to Vegas maybe ten times and really enjoyed all the fantastic hotels, casinos and shows. Always stayed on The Strip, so can't vouch for anywhere else in town: Best pool, hands down: The Mirage Best suites: The Rio Best Casino (though I am just a slot machine player): Treasure Island Worst Casino: Ceasars Palace Best slot machines (translation: ones I generally won at): the ones as big as a fridge, "Jackpot Party", and one with a tropical motif. Best attraction: Seigfried (sp?) and Roy's Secret Garden zoo. Best free attractions: pirate ship at Treasure Island, water show at the Bellagio, lion cage at the MGM, white tiger cage at the Mirage. Most fun meal: Stratosphere-- revolving restaurant with 360 views of Vegas and mountains. It was fast food for the senses, and after 9-11 it took as long to board the plane as it did to fly there-- But I really enjoyed Disneyland for Adults while it lasted.:-)
