If this is the 24-hour puja for Guru Dev, no, sorry, he knew exactly what he was doing. He had to have the puja items handed to him by an assistant, but I think that's because he's almost if not completely blind and didn't want to have to grope around. His hands were steady as a rock, though, and there was no hesitation whatsoever in the way he handled the items. He was sitting up straight as a ramrod. Why BillyG says it was "surreal," I can't imagine (unless he was referring to the raggedness of the group recitation).
