Hey

I agree completely with your saying. Though I do think 'Grand oral
diseminator' has it's own appeal, something only a real faithless fan would
figure out. But my points is that I know people who consider a club/rave their
Church, where they to heal themselves in the own way, be it the feeling of
forgetting what's outside the club and just dancing the night away or just
drugs, etc. And for that time period the Dj is the one that controls how they
are gonna feel. Crappy Dj, crappy feeling and Wicked dj( Liberator bro's come
to mind), they feel healed. Thus considering the Dj to be a god.

<br>*sigh* When I read things like this it feels to me as though people
have<br>missed the point. Lets have a quick look at a couple of
lyrics:<br><br>"This is my Church...<br>this is where I heal my
hurts...<br><br>..for tonight god is a DJ."<br><br>*Something* is being
equated to a church and religion with a god. I would<br>put it to you that the
word "This" is referring to a nightclub (where to<br>track is being played).
All the clubbers are going to 'worship' 'God'.<br>Though really all they are
doing is dancing to a DJ. Nothing more than a<br>simple analogy with some
interesting undertones.<br><br>Well that's my 2 cents
anyway.<br><br>DG<br><br><br>-
