I finally got ahold of Irrevrence for the first time and have almost completed my faithless collection with everything but the why go singles, which are finally showing on ebay rather frequently now. (Did any of you see that 3x12" why go promo that went for $52? Thats unbelievable). Anyway im bored, so heres my take on it: Flowerstand Man (matty's remix)- Its not the original, but its always a treat to hear dido sing. Angeline (the innocents mix)- This could be a mix of anything by anyone, or a free standing track, it really has no ties to angeline. Its nice though. Reverence (tasmin's re-fix)- I havent found any mix of reverence as yet that captures the depth of the track itself, this one is no exception. Although nice, it tries to make the song too dancey. Soundcheck Jam- Kinda dull, I have to play it a few times to get what maxi is saying, then I might like it better. Salva Mea (way out west remix)- Of course, one of the best mixes of Salva Mea ever, next to the DT mixes on the promo. Dont Leave (floating remix)- Very pretty longer version of the song, nice and mellow feeling to it. Drifting Away (paradiso mix)- The floating mix of Salva Mea without the dance riffs, very pretty. Insomnia (moody mix)- I didnt really have a favorite mix of Insomnia till I heard this one, I think its the best track on Irreverence, It draws on what makes the original so great, and extends that out. Baseball Dub (cheeky all stars remix)- Kinda dull, but dancable. Very loose tie to baseball cap. So, now that I have them all, I can rate it like this: 1. Sunday 8pm 2. Reverence 3. Irreverence 4.
