>>FAITHLESS COME OUTRO
>>The new single from Faithless is called We Come One, muzikweekly can
>>exclusively reveal.
>
>When did muzikweekly announce this?
Friday - a couple of minutes before I forwarded it.
>'Cos surely Radio 1 playing it counts for something, or did musikweekly
>give this information first? Not important I guess.
They're lying. But then, things are frequently tagged
'exclusive' even though they aren't these days. Grr.
>>Released on May 28th, the record features remixes from Dave Clarke,
>>DJ Garth and Wookie
>
>What does DJ Garth sound like?
Very good - Pete Tong's recent Mixmag CD has a track by him, and
the Tyrant compilation has two tracks by him, if you have either of
those.
>I've got high hopes for the Dave Clarke mix (nice & dirty)
Hmm. He's a bit hit-and-miss if you ask me. Some of his mixes
truly are works of [evil] genius (Greed and Coatnoise), but others are
so similar to the original that there's no point to them at all
(Kernkraft 400 and Naive Song). IMO, of course.
>and very low hopes for the Wookie mix,
Indeed. The word 'why???' (with all the reduntant punctuation)
springs to mind, as does the phrase 'commercial viability over content'.
>>and is the first track to be lifted from their third album
>>Outrospective.
>
>Who else has called their album "Outrospective"? It sounds very
>familiar.
Well, they did mention it a while back. That's probably why it
sounds familiar.
>June 11th, eh? Much closer than I was anticipating. I'm a little bit
>surprised that they're only putting out one single before putting the
>album out, but there you go.
I'm not surprised - a great deal of artists only put out one
single before the album (and sometimes only bring out one single per
album). Orbital, for example.
