When I first bought "Deliver Me" I remember posting something to this
list saying that it might grow on me, but I wasn't all that impressed at
first.
Well, I've given it several more listens now, and I'm afraid it hasn't
grown on me. It still sounds very generic, there's something about John
Martyn's voice which I find much much less listenable than Jon Marsh's
from the Beloved, and none of the mixes do anything special. Roll on the
new Faithless material.
However, Ibi & Rollo's tuff mix of "Sister Sister" is still a great
track. If I used the phrase "tuuuuuuuuuuuuune" then it would apply to
that.
