Hey Gary - what happens if you update the application scope by appending updateapp=1 to the farcry query sting prior to deploying the type?   I assume you were just deploying the dmEmail type yeah? -  This error usually means the application.types[typename].bCustomType variable has not been set for some reason.  If you can let me know what steps lead to this we may be able to track why it happened.    Paul     >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/07/03 08:51am >>> I am in the process of upgrading a b130 install to b200.  I get the following error: "Element dmEmail is undefined in a CFML structure referenced as part of an _expression_.
