Hey there Gary,
I think it is a better idea as you suggested to implement defaultpage as an
attribute of the tab tags. I have attached /farcry_core/admin/index.cfm
with the new changes (they are not in the current public release) to support the
subtabs href attribute ie
<subtabs href="" permission="whatever">
</subtabs>
.... so you can now merge in what you have done.
