Hey there Gary,

I think it is a better idea as you suggested to implement defaultpage as an attribute of the tab tags.  I have attached /farcry_core/admin/index.cfm with the new changes (they are not in the current public release) to support the subtabs href attribute ie

<subtabs href="" permission="whatever">
</subtabs>

.... so you can now merge in what you have done.

Cheers

Paul

OK - well I have it working for the Top Nav (ie. top level tab).  Need to
modify the customAdminMenuFrame.cfm though to get it working for the Sub
Nav.  However, I am guessing that this will have been modified to provide
the LHS functionality you are referring to above.

In addition, I was considering not using a <defaultpage> tag and putting
the URL (probably calling it defaultpage) in the actual <parenttab> and
<subtabs> tags.

e.g.

<parenttab permission="...." defaultpage=".....">
        <subtabs permission="...." defaultpage="....">
        </subtabs>
</parenttab>

Will that be more consistent (or in conflict) with what you were talking
about with the "hrefs" ??

Also - is that a feature that is released or in a upcoming minor release ?
