I wonder thou why the new version of Farcry are so different from the old one. The old one worked nice on Linux running MySQL. The new one is coded with no tought about case sensitive operative systems. I can't run the updates since the table is named "stats", and the programmer who wrote update b122 used "Stats", and the programmer who wrote b125 is using "STATS". Even to get Farcry up & running I had to change a name of a file and also change a query.

A quick note on updates. You should only be running the updates that sit between your current version and the version you are upgrading to.

For example, if you install 3.0 you should run the 3.0 updater only (and even this is only because we have accidentally left some 3.0 fixes out of the installer).

You absolutely, categorically, should *not* be running all the updaters for a new installation. This is just bad. Linux compatability was not available for versions prior to v2 of FarCry. Hence the issues with the updaters.

Updaters are just for "updating" -- moving you from one version to the next.

Anyway.. I know this isn't all that clear in the installer/updater and it needs work but hopefully this will help someone.
