If you can get your host to add virtual directories and CF Mappings you're golden, even if you can't control the name of them. I recently signed up with HostMySite.com who said they would be happy to provide virtual directories in IIS and CF Mappings. The catch was that the CF Mapping was the name I specified concat with a unique ID. I blogged how I solved the problem at http://www.robrusher.com/1/2006/01/Hosted-FarCry-CMS.cfm.
The long and short of it is that if the virtual directory and the CF Mapping are the same string you can do a find & replace on the FarCry source. I put the exact strings in the blog.
