There are many erasons to get this error (google to find some). 99% of the time it's something on the client-end (actually, I've personally never seen it on the server end). The error should be more detailed, but unfortunately it isn't. >From my personal experience I've seen this error in Windows in 2 scenarios: 1. The checkout/export line is not written correctly. 2. The software you're using can't find cvs.exe (placing it in the path generally fixes this issue). --- Jeff Coughlin
