We currenly have Farcry CMS v2.3 running our school website and have the FU
servlet installed to generate friendly URLs. The friendly urls appear to
work, but only if the navigation node Title and Nav Alias are the same. If
one is different than the other, the url doesn't work. This has in turn
gernerated breadcrumb trails on a few pages that look sloppy because they
contains underscores (which are present in the nav alias).
Example: On our Faculty & Staff page, the navigation node is Title:
Faculty_Staff, Nav Alias: faculty_staff...and everything works great, but
breadcrumbs for sub-pages appear Home : Faculty_Staff : Directory....with
the obvious underscore present in the breadcrumb. I would like the
breadcrumb to display as Home : Faculty & Staff : Directory ....but if I
change the navigation node to Title: Facult & Staff, Nav Alias:
faculty_staff....the friendly url does not work.
Has anyone else run into this issue? and if so is there an update or fix to
resove this?
