Sorry that I'm didn't post anymore.
I solved the problem already.
I'm using kinda inline-edit, if administrators are logged in on the site. They 
can instantly click on Edit Page and they'll get e.g.
the dmHTML plp stepper.
The problem with the umlaute occured only there, but I didn't recognize that at 
first. Now I got out that my pageendoding wasn't set
correctly to utf-8 and that's the fault that CF destroyed my umlaute!

PS: I like soEditorLite very much! tinyMCE is in my opinion not as user (and 
customer)-friendly as soEditor is. ("Look, that's quite
easy. It looks like MS Word!" *g*)

You might try an alternative rich text editor like tinyMCE.  
SoEditorLite is a bit of a dinosaur.
