[farcry-dev] News editable draft loses expiry date

Hi,

We noticed that on sending a news item back to draft, the publish and expiry dates remain as set originally, but on creating an editable draft version, both the publish and expiry dates revert to today's date (which is annoying if you just want to edit the body and have to remember to reset the dates).
Is this supposed to happen?

We are using a fairly recent build of Farcry 3.
