Adding PKs should be enough. The problem in larger DB systems is the use of
GUUID for a PK (when I mean large, I mean multi GB DB).

Do not over index - this can be a performance killer. As long as you have a
clustered index on PK you should be fine!

The first thing to do is to go through the tables and create primary keys
and
the default indexes on those PKs. That should make a dramatic difference in
performance. I'm doing that on my database right now. If i have the time
i'll try and write a script that'll do this for the whole farcry db. At
least for MS SQL server, cause that's what i'm using.
