Really? You should not be using the ODBC bridge with ColdFusion - unless you are using Access or an incompatible DB.
The native SQL driver should work fine? What problem/errors are you getting? It turns out quite a few people have run into this same issue with ntext. The ultimate solution is to use the MS SQL Server datasource driver. I have been using ODBC Socket, becuase the MS SQL driver wasn't working for me. With a bit of tweakikng i got it to work. AHHHHH! This is a relief.
