Good morning Blair, First, we appreciate all of your help; thanks! Since we're at a stopping point, I need to ask these last set of questions, and then I'll leave you alone for a few days. :)
We have worked our way through the creation of two new rules and two new types, and have stepped through the docs that you posted: http://bugs.farcrycms.org:8080/confluence/display/FCDEV30/Custom+Types#CustomTypes-ListingTypeDataintheAdminConsole and http://bugs.farcrycms.org:8080/confluence/display/FCDEV30/Wizards+%2528PLPs%2529 QUESTIONS / PROBLEMS 1) Regarding the rules .. when we click on the wrench to edit a container, we see our new rules in the available list. When we select and commit, it takes us to the next screen, where we encounter the select menu at the top that shows the active rules for the container, THEN instead of seeing available rule options below, we see the following message: " : No execute method specified" 2) Regarding the type .. we gotten as far as creating a new admin tab, creating the left navigation (in the sidebar) for the new type, and we can see the record list, with the add/ edit/ delete options, etc.. However, when we click on any of the three options (add, edit, or delete), we get the following error: ---------------------------------------------------------- Error: Custom Administration Invalid CFML construct found on line 14 at column 1. ColdFusion was looking at the following text: < The CFML compiler was processing: < marks the beginning of a ColdFusion tag.Did you mean LT or LTE? ---------------------------------------------------------- 3) Regarding the "Text Rule" located in the Available Rule list in the container wizard ... what content type is used to store that data? In other words, in the admin, can we access the record list for data added via the Text Rule form that is presented in the container wizard? It is not available in any of the types listed under the Content tab in the admin. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
