Geoff.. Yeah... I thought of that - but I started with a blank directory and let the installer copy the files in (the pliant skins). Any other ideas? :)

If you copied an existing site, and hit a page before changing the app name in Application.cfm it may have confused matters by populating the app scope of your other application with a crappy set of global constants.
