We are currently running on FC 3.0.2. FarCry is installed on a different drive between our development and production servers. When we deploy to the production server, the database will be copied out to the production server.
We noticed that the image paths in dmImage reflect the dirve/directory on the development server. Changing the image paths via the FarCry webtop does not update these paths. So, images that were added to the media library on the development server have an incorrect image path on our production server, even if we update them via the webtop - e.g. once the path is set for a media asset it is not changed. A couple of questions here: Shouldn't the paths in the various media tables (dmImage, dmFile, dmFlash) be updated when the paths are changed via the Config Files option in the webtop? Or, is there a reason this isn't so? In that we will need to update these by hand, are there any other tables that need to be updated other than dmImage, dmFile, and dmFlash? Thanks.
