We are using friendly URLs for our clients sites (ex.
http://www.effectiveinterventions.org/go/about-debi). We are using a
stats applications (SmarterStats) to track user data. The application
recognizes file extensions (e.g. .asp, .cfm, etc.) and uses them to
delineate pages and file types; thus allowing it to track who went to
what page or file. Because the rewrite rule is all encompassing and
removes the extension and only leaves the FU name for all things, the
application can make no distinction. When we look in the application,
all site/page activity is being tallied under "go.cfm".

Has anyone else encountered anything similar and/or have a solution?
If necessary, I can use individual rules for each possibility (e.g.,
one for .cfm, one for .PDF, .doc, etc.). However, I am not adept in
writing rules. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
