The admin portion of Farcry allows admin users to upload files. There is nothing in the front-end that will allow (or disallow that sort of activity). I would probably implement that sort of functionality in a dmInclude file, and pull it in under a dmNav node. But you can probably solve this a dozen different ways. I am trying to build a website using farcry and I want the following functionality in it. I want the users of the webpage to be able to upload files to the webpage and the other users have to be able to view these files. I thought that I can go through the code which provides this functionality within farcry - the place where we can upload files to the media library and I thought that I could do something similar to that. But i am not able to locate the code which provides this functionality. Can anybody help me out with this ? And do u think it is a good idea to do something similar to what the farcry code is doing to upload files or do u ppl think that it would be better to build something simpler ? Can you please direct me in the right path.. Thanks a lot for your help.
