Cheers for your help, but when I ran that it timed out. And now it just
errors each and every time I try to run it.

 

But when I look at the content archives they are still sitting there which
tells me that doesn't do what I want it to do.

 

I could sit here and write a query to do the job myself, but I do not know
enough about the relationships in the tables to make the script or code to
do the job myself as yet.

On my install (3.0.2) you go to the reporting tab and on the left under
Maintenance you have "Clear Stats Log".  Click it and you'll be able to
select the time frame in which you want to clear the log.
