I'm uncertain what stuff goes with what version. It seems that spikes FU servlet is not being used any more and now the preferred method for achieving friendly URLs is through installing a rewrite filter? I thought this version of farcry came with friendly URLs working out of the box. Does that just mean that it's set up to work with friendly urls but you still have to install the rewrite filter. I don't see a good complete post on how to do this. Also when I go to the manage frienldly URLs it seems to have a lot of aliases in there that I never created? how is this happening?
I know I've been posting a lot of questions lately...I appreciate all of your help getting me started. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute some responses to the forum when I'm a little more shooled in the ways of farcry.
