The word is that we worked with New Atlanta engineers to make 4.0 compatable. This was during the FarCry 4.0 beta phase. I'm not sure that all the recommended changes were implemented, and no testing (at least at our end) has been done to confirm the viability of FarCry on Bluedragon. However, New Atlanta did report a sucessful installation and running build of FarCry 4.0 beta on Bluedragon. > I'm doing a test install and once getting Bluedragon and Apache > configured, I get the following error during install: > > Invalid ColdFusion version > You are currently running ColdFusion version 7.0.0.339 and need to > upgrade to CFMX 7.0.2 before trying to install FarCry You could record this as a bug at http://bugs.farcrycms.org/ -- this should be a warning only and not prevent you from proceeding with the installation. If you want to see if you can get further you will need to comment out the validation. > Now, obviously I'm using BD7 and not CF7, but is Bluedragon going to > be supported in FC4? It sounds like they finally got BD7 and FC3 > working, but it looks like FC4 is a no-go? We would very much like FarCry to be supported on Bluedragon. It would be the first I have heard of BD and FarCry 3.0 working. My understanding is that only FarCry 4,0 has been targetted for compatability on Bluedragon. Please feel free to raise any BD compatibility issues at http://bugs.farcrycms.org/ -- I will make it my business to priotorise fixes pertaining to BD for the 4.03 milestone on the maintenance branch. (4.02 is due out this week).
