I don't believe it's possible in v3, as this is a matter for your chosen WYSIWYG editor, rather than farcry code. (It'd make a good mod though - similar to the insert files / images - insert link to nav node.)
As I understand it there's been a lot of work in version 4 to integrate tinyMCE with farcry so i'd hazard a guess this capability has been added. B.
