I noticed that the version of the plugin that Trond and the wiki have posted are slightly different. One has the inital text filed one does not, as this is what I was doing when I broke. I was adding the inital terxt field. I ended updated removing my install of FarCry and staritn allover again. I am a farcry noob trying to learn farccry so it is not a production system.
Everything works great now. I woudl really like to understand how I could have recovered without doing a reinstall.
