We need to modify the way that FarCry applications are initialised to take advantage of the "application specific mappings" feature available in CF8. Currently we use Application.cfm and some clever approaches to including the project's application details from within the FarCry webtop. We need to convert this to use Application.cfc -- it's not quite as simple as it sounds. That said, we do have some good ideas in development for solving this problem and hope to release something for people in the 4.1 timeframe (about Christmas).
