I strongly suggest grabbing the latest from the p300 branch in SVN (as described in the last email).
Wow, its been over a year since I last played with FarCry 3 :). I don't recall if you had to run the updater from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2. But essentially this is what I'd do: 1. Backup the existing farcry_core and your DB 2. Overwrite existing core with new core (preferably rename old farcry_core and use that as the backup). Depending on your OS, you may have to stop the CF service first (locked files). 3. See if any updates are required (domain.com/farcry/updates) 4. Go into the COAPI and see if any types and/or rules modifications need to be deployed. 5. Update the application scope (?updateapp=1). Number 4 above is very important. I've seen people skip it all too often with undesirable effects.
