Thanks, this seems to be the workable solution.  I've setup the views
in the external database and added the script to
"_serverSpecificVarsAfterInit.cfm"
and can now search those users via the farcry admin area (security
>user management > user search). However, I'm still unable to login
using one of those external member logins.  How will this work if I
can't populate the dmGroup view?
