This is very simple. In your container in the code you just change the
label :)

Example from FC 3:
<con:container label="#stobj.objectid#_unique container">
<con:container label="global container">

Adding #stObj.objectid# to the front of the label makes it unique. Removing
that will make it global to the template that the container is contained in.

Subject: [farcry-dev] Included Modules (Not sure if that would be the right
title or not)

Hello -
Me again :)

Ok, I'm starting to get the hang of how to customize FC and extend
certain things and so on. There are a couple of things, however, that
are befuddling me.

The first I'm going to dig a little deeper into before asking about it
because I think it's just where I'm using the wrong rule for the
container but... Well, I'll ask later if need be :)

And the second I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me out or
not since it's not a FC plugin per se. I found somewhere a polling
module for FC2 or 3 that, with some tweaking for FC4 and then heavy
customization for our needs, works outstandingly.

The thing that is annoying, however, is that we have to assign the
rule and display page and everything for every single page instead of
it being global. I'm sure this was by design for both FC and the
polling module itself since I can see possible future things such as
if the end-user is on a Transportation page, they get a poll about
rental cars or airlines or whatever, and if they're on a WiFi Hotspot
page, they get a poll about the provider they use, and if they're on a
Wedding Chapels page, they get a poll about who they'd rather be
married by (Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc) and so on and so on.

Unfortunately we're not at that point yet (the powers at be aren't
grasping the above scenario - *yet*) and they want the same poll on
every page. Does anyone have any suggestions on how/where I can make
it global as opposed to having to add it to each page manually?

As always, thank you for your help and patience!
