I am brand new to farcry. I have 1 week of learning/playing under my belt. I have used cf in the past. I am building many CF applications to access data in my Oracle databases. I would like to hang them off the farcry site I am building, and would like them all to use the farcry top menu. A couple of questions: 1. Should I set up the applications as includes? If so, how do I get the new cfm's to show up on the include list? If I don't set them as includes, is there an cfinclude that will pull in the menu structure.? 2. I need to restrict access to these modules, for example Finance Only, Quality Only, Operations and Quality... What is the recommended way to restrict access? I can envision a function to check to see if the user is logged in and to check the groups they belong to.
Any comments are appreciated. -Bill --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
