I have walked through the installation steps, step by step and keep having the same problem. I have tried 2 different machines with the same troubles. Very frustrated. After a successful install, I go to the website or admin page and get the following error... Application Failed to Initialise. When I expand it it says Element CONFIG.GENERAL.LOCAL is indefined in APPLICATION. Did I do something wrong? Did I miss something? How can I get this working? I am using Vista, IIS7, Coldfusion 8, MySQL 5 and FarCry 4.0.9.
