Yeah that's interesting. As a new user I asked myself the same thing:
why do they only allow you to include files from only one folder?

My solution was to create a file under
/farcry/projects/project_name/includedObj and use cfinclude within this
file to point to my desired file.

* I could only make it work if the file began with and underscore
** Use the @@displayname comment to give it a title, eg.

<!--- @@displayname: My include that does stuff --->

Hope that helps, though I can't answer why the dmInclude object was made
that way. I am thinking about something along the lines of app security.
Still, it would be good if the select box was less restrictive (e.g.
allow any cfm file to be selected and search directories as well)

Hi
If I try Include, I can only include CF Templates - _contactUs.cfm or
_sitemap.cfm
So, the big question is: How to create a dmInclude object under the
Navigation node and select the ColdFusion file I need?

Rune

I can't create a dmInclude object. All the choices I have under nav
object
in the tree are:
Navigation
HTML Page
Include
CSS
Flash
Image
Link
Motto - ask and learn then help others
