Why are you using ft:form? Is this something you want to build that cannot be done automatically using formtools? ft:form would be used in conjunction with something like ft:object. It's not something that can be described in a simple sound bite unfortunately. If I had a better idea of what you are trying to achieve I might be able to point you in the right direction.
