FarCry is built on ColdFusion components, and makes specific use of features introduced in ColdFusion 7.0. Unfortunately, not even FarCry 1.0 will run on ColdFusion 5. It's worth noting that FarCry 5.1 (currently in beta and due for release very soon) supports the two most popular open source CFML engines Railo and OpenBD.
