What Mike is seeing is... Create some news items and assign to various categories Add a news publishing rule to a page -> all news items are displayed Modify the new publishing rule to restrict to selected categories by selecting categories in the cat tree -> all news items are displayed Modify the new publishing rule making a non category change, e.g. change the number of items to be displayed -> only news items for your chosen category are displayed
It would appear that if the update to a publishing rule is restricted to changing only the selected categories these are not reflected in the news items displayed. This is repeatable and on more than one server. Using the latest core code from the nightlies. Been busy and have not had time to look into this in more detail. Chris.
