Created a superhero content type like the tutorial said, but couldn't create an instance of superhero because the only buttons available were 'properties' and 'unlock'. With a little hunch, I went to the permissions in the 'scaffold' area. Unfortunately, Explorer shows a fairly mixed up mess on the permissions tab of the scaffold area (which is why I missed it originally). This time, I went running for Firefox. Firefox did indeed display this permissions tab correctly, so I could allow sysadmin to create and edit superhero objects. Reloaded the app and voila, I've got myself a shiny new 'add' buttton on the content tab when I click on the superhero type.
