If you upload an image over the top of an existing image it will
attempt to archive that image by default.  The error suggests you
don't have a ./mediaarchive folder in the root of your project.  That
said, please report this as an error because it should probably
automatically create this folder if its missing rather than just
failing miserably.

There is a global setting for turning off the media archive -- its
value escapes me just now.
