BazD, Definitely try the upgrade in a test environment first.
Friendly URLs may be a problem if using Ionic. To-date, no one has successfully gotten the new friendly urls that comes with FarCry 5.1 to work with the Ionic rewrite filter. If you or anyone has the time to figure it out, let us know or update the docs (or make a comment in the wiki). The author of the Ionic rewrite filter has been very helpful in the past and willing to make custom changes to the plugin for people. You can find more info on the FarCry 5.1 friendly urls in the docs http://docs.farcrycms.org/display/FCDEV50/Friendly+URLs The security model has changed a bit in FC5. It "should" import all of your records correctly. Although every time I've upgraded from 4 to 5 I've always ended up with several duplicate user records. It hasn't really been an issue - I just delete the extra users to solve the problem for myself (check the user's details - sometimes the extra users would be missing details).
