Neil,

I'm sure someone could make one if they were interested. I don't
believe all of the old files for it have been deleted yet. Previously
you'd have found the custom tag call to the stats tracker in core/
webtop/OnRequestEnd.cfm.

It was a decent tool back in it's time, but there are far better
solutions out there such as Google Analytics (free). One major
drawback to using the FarCry stats was that the stats table gets too
large. I had clients with heavy traffic who were getting 8+ GB tables
within just a few months (all data in the stats table) and the
websites would start to lag (constantly updating the database with
each user's hit to the website) - I had to purge the table once a month.

Letting a product like Google Analytics (or another 3rd-party product
(there are more robust ones out there)) manage this data was a much
better solution. WebTrends has decent tools if you're running an
eCommerce application, but you need an extra server with lots of HD
space. Using a third-party service like Google means they take care
of the server, server upgrades, server maintenance, and the necessary
HD space.

After deleting the stats table for my clients, their websites run much
smoother now and their DBs are nice and small.

Regards,
