I'm sure i will find out how to do this, but before reinventing the wheel, just checking if some of you already had done this and how.
I have a custom type "shop categories", somehow i want to attach this to the navigation type so that the navigation menu is updated with a list of shop categories. So my thought is to skip the custom type shopcategories and use the (customized) dmNavigation type as 'shop categories' type that will hold the category names and at the same time nicely updates the nav structure. Or should i just keep and use the custom shopcategories type and based on custom functions update etc the dmNavigation type? How would you do it?
