Just to clarify: how do you know that FarCry is still using the core dmImage
file? As Tomek says, the definitive check is to check
application.stCOAPI.dmImage.packagepath.

Another possible problem is if your component has a compile time error, e.g.
a syntax error. In that case FarCry will attempt to load your component,
fail, and load the core component instead. Are you able to instantiate your
component manually?
