I was wondering if anyone else had come across the problem of when some text entered is too long for the database, FarCry simply dumps the cfcatch structure instead of saying something simple like "text entered is too long". Is there anything in the validation that can do this before FarCry goes ahead and sends the text to the database? If not, is it easy to add such a feature as I think this would be a very good addition to the validation methods.
