I believe stats are deprecated as from fc5, i never have worked with them as i used fc from version 5, so i don't know if it's possible to still run those stats by some custom coding.
Or just get the old data sums and recreate a stats table yourself. As for stats usage for like google analytics, i only use google analytics, all your sites in one account and very sophisticated, and if for a client setup and pass link, done.
